What I Woke Up To This Morning ...
MAN UP ! ....Many of us have heard that abomination though sometimes the message is delivered sarcastically & most often to men, the speaker has observed behavior lacking in courage or honesty & is exhorting that person to face up to a situation or confrontation . The circumstances depicted often relate to human relationships & flawed or deficient communications .For example , one might be steering away from meetings or conversations to avoid the possibility of hurt feelings , or giving an answer that might not be well received . Perhaps someone is holding back from taking appropriate action because of a lack of confidence. Or maybe it's just hard to say " I was wrong & I'm sorry," because that could be thought of as a sign of weakness. Of course , all these situations need conscientious thought in order to be handled.
The same is true , though , about each of us -- both men & women.how often are we confronted with an apparent flaw or deficiency in ourselves or others , be it with regard to work , family, income physical well- being , purpose , companionship , or life itself ? And what's sometimes the response ? Is it one of denial ? Complacency ? Regret ? Resignation & acceptance ? Maybe we think if we just ignore these issues or play them down , they will dissipate or go away .Or do we hear that instruction to "MAN UP " in alert comprehension , recognition & expression of the child of God we truly are ? As we're told in the 1st chapter of the book of Genesis we are each the image & likeness of God , whole & perfect .What could be more complete expression of man - the generic term for all humanity - than that of the likeness of the Infinite Mind , Eternal Life , Unbounded Love ,Absolute Truth , governed by unfaltering Principle ? And God is the unwavering source of the Divine Character & perfection that we constantly & completely reflect & express.(ummmm)Then the response to sickness , fear , anxiety , depression , loneliness , loss of any sort - be it family , friends , job , income , life - can be to really "man up ".In other words , we can refute any claim of inadequacy or insufficiency & affirm the competence & completeness as God's man . Mary Baker Eddy wrote in Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures " At all times & under all circumstances , over come difficulty with goodness . Know thyself , and God will supply the wisdom & the occasion for a victory over it . SO, she says-- Know Thyself --, as the pure , innocent ,undefiled , reflection of Spirit & Soul .Whenever you're confronted by a malicious thought , an unsettling occurrence , the suggestion of contagion , or fear of any kind , deny what or who you are not ...and recognize , know and acknowledge who you are and affirm this truth . In a previous interview with Unity Radio , you have said , the rehearsal is over , the time is now , whatever obstacles we have to miracles happening we can release them , and forgiveness is the key .What would you say about forgiveness ?Marianne Williamson : In the Course of Miracles , it says that we are not perfect , or we would not have been born , but our mission to become perfect here . I think , most people , certainly people on a spiritual path , are feeling ,what you might call an intensified sped - up lesson plan these days .Sometimes you might be feeling that "I 've been working on love , spiritual development , personal growth for so long , how is it possible , that I'm stubbing my attitudinal toe at this point on some grudge that I can't give up , some judgment , some unforgiveness , some anger ," but actually what's been going on is we've all been given our advanced course in love , as it were , and there is no advance course in love that does not include an advance course in forgiveness . It's easy to love people who behave in the way we want them to , it's easy for us to have compassion for people who have shown compassion for us , but that's not an advance course in love , pretty much anyone can do that .The advance course in love is when , a friend is at fault , someone has betrayed us or some injustice has been done to us .That's when we find out how we're really doing at this thing called spiritual growth .
What i have seen in my life & what i see in people around me & what i think that the world is called to right now , is that higher love , that sees beyond people's mistakes , allows the past to be the past , and allows the world to be reborn , as it were. It is amazing how difficult it is to do this , it is amazing how mush resistances we have to giving up our thought that someone did the wrong thing or said the wrong thing & somehow if they did or if they said something differently we would be okay. Even as I say this , I am impacted , by how hard it is for me . Even as i say these words , I am dealing with this one person whose transgression as it were , if you even want to call it that ,was that even all that great , in worldly terms , but whatever the trigger , whatever the primal nerve that was cut by those words , my difficulty in simply letting it go , only proves to me , once again , how big an issue this is . How hard it can be to let go of our grievance for someone , but also how extraordinary profound is the realization , that the part of you that doesn't want to let it go , is the part of you that identifies with the separate self . That if you were to forgive , then you would be letting go of your sense of that separate self , and that is the death of the ego & of course the ego does not want to forgive . One of my favorite lines in the Course of Miracles, is that the Christ in you cannot be crucified , the part of you that can be offended , the part of you that can be insulted , that part of you that can be transgressed against , is not the real you anyway it is just the sense of who you are . The real you is eternal spirit that is flowing along in perfect harmony & perfect bliss & these , ultimately small times , personal transgressions , mean nothing . Now , I am not being glib here about serious injustices and betrayals & transgressions , they do exist , all the way to the level of heinous crimes , but I think it is safe to speculate that the majority of people reading this article , aren't dealing with unforgiveness having to do with , what in the big scheme of things , not even all that big of a deal .

AFTER ALL , WE WERE BROUGHT UP TO BELIEVE THAT GOD PUNISH US FOR OUR SINS , AND THAT THE WILL OF GOD MUST CONTAIN SOME FORM OF PUNISHMENT & SACRIFICE FOR US . NO WONDER SO MANY PEOPLE LIVE IN A STATE OF APPREHENSION , FUTILITY AND FATALISM .AND THERE'S THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COIN .WE'VE BEEN TOLD TO BE CAREFUL WHAT WE PRAY FOR BECAUSE WE MIGHT GET IT ..IN OTHER WORDS ,"MY WILL BE DONE " A COURSE IN MIRACLES STATES IT THIS WAY : THE VERY FACT THAT THE WILL OF GOD IS PERCEIVED AS FEARFUL , DEMONSTRATES THAT YOU ARE AFRAID OF WHO & WHAT YOU ARE ( A SPIRITUAL BEING) IT IS NOT THE WILL OF GOD WHICH YOU ARE AFRAID OF BUT YOURS.....YOU DO NOT ASK ONLY FOR WHAT YOU WANT .THIS IS BECAUSE YOU ARE AFRAID YOU MIGHT RECEIVE IT AND YOU WOULD . BUT NOW WE SEE THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE WILL , AND HOW COULD IT BE OTHERWISE ? THE WHOLE UNIVERSE OF COSMIC BEING INDIVIDUALIZED IT'S CONSCIOUSNESS AS THE SELFHOOD OF EACH ONE OF US ., AND NOTHING WAS LEFT OUT OF THE INDIVIDUALIZING PROCESS . WE ARE THE WILL OF GOD ." I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE : ALL THAT MY FATHER IS I AM "THIS LESSON HELPED ME UNDERSTAND THAT THE BURNING DESIRES OF MY HEART WERE BORN OF LOVE REPRESENT THE ONE COMMON WILL PUSHING ON MY CONSCIOUSNESS TO BE EXPRESSED.GOD'S WILL IS PEACE & JOY , RADIANT WHOLENESS & WELL BEING , CREATIVE SUCCESS & ABUNDANT PROSPERITY , ALONG WITH RIGHT RELATIONS & HARMONY . IS THAT NOT WHAT WE WANT TOO ? THERE IS ONLY ONE WILL.
As I was writing my interpretation of this lesson , I received the Quarterly Letter written for subscribers by my good friend , author & spiritual teacher Walter Starcke. Here is an excerpted portion from a section titled " On Demand Prayer ":There comes a time when afters days of struggling to turn things over to our Higher Consciousness , after releasing all judgment , after forgiving everyone & everything involved , if the road block has not been removed , the time has come for us to demand that it be . If we really believe we are one with God, then always waiting on God , always being patient , always turning it over to God , as though we have no say in the matter , has to eventually come to an end . Passivity can be a form of doubt .Demand affirms oneness.There comes a time when petitionary prayer is a denial of our claim to be One with God .Petitionary prayer always has an intimation of fear , always remains an acknowledgment of duality .At one point , petitionary prayer can be like programming the computer , but to get results the computer has to be turned on to demand.Certainly , if you are operating out of ego , and if you have not exhausted all other means , the condition has not been met for your will to be on demand. But there comes a time when you must affirm your union by demanding a situation break , a healing take place , or a clarification become present. Love , and then , demand. Love God by affirming that God is the only power , and then demand that that power , that omnipotence , be done because of your joint partnership , because you are taking responsibility for being a co-creator with God.Your prayer should not be "thy will be done " as though there is a question or doubt , as though something apart from yourself has to be called upon . It should be , "Thy will be done , because I affirm , because I demand it ."Let's realize the importance of the Code in this particular step .I am Jesus . He said in the book of John , just before raising Lazarus ,"Father , I thank thee that thou has heard me .And I know that thou hearest me always ..."This was the recognition of the oneness of Spirit & Soul, the one Mind & single will , knowing that even before the call was made , the answer , the power , was given .Thy will is done because it is called forth . And the call here was that Lazarus be raised from the dead.
I RECALL A TIME BACK IN THE 1970'S WHEN EVERYTHING SEEMED TO BE IN A TANGLED MESS , AND I SENT FORTH THE CALL TO BE FREED FROM IT .THIS DEMAND BROKE THE EGO-GRIP , & THE ANSWER CAME QUICKLY AS AN OPPORTUNITY PRESENTED ITSELF TO MOVE TO ANOTHER CITY & TAKE AN EXECUTIVE POSITION WITH A NEW FIRM , WHICH IN TIME LED TO THE FORMING OF THE QUARTERLY FOUNDATION &THE WRITING OF MY FIRST BOOK ,THE SUPERBEINGS .THE ONE WILL-INACTION BROUGHT HARMONY OUT OF CHAOS. THOU SHALL ALSO DECREE A THING , AND IT SHALL BE ESTABLISHED UNTO THEE , AND THE LIGHT SHALL SHINE UPON THY WAYS ." (JOB) JESUS ASKED "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO FOR YOU ?" (MARK)IN THE INTERPLAY BETWEEN HIM & THE BLIND MAN , CAN WE SEE THE SAME THING HAPPENING BETWEEN OUR CONSCIOUSNESS & THE DIVINE SELF WITHIN ? WHAT DO YOU WANT ? DECREE THAT ALL BLOCKS IN CONSCIOUSNESS BE REMOVED , & THEN GO FORTH AS THE WILL OF GOD TO HEAL , MULTIPLY PROVISIONS , AND BRING EVERYTHING IN YOUR LIFE UP TO DIVINE STANDARDS. BE AS YOUR HIGHER POWER.!!!"WHEN THE LIGHT COMES & YOU HAVE SAID "GOD'S WILL IS MINE , YOU WILL SEE SUCH BEAUTY THAT YOU WILL KNOW IT IS NOT OF YOU . OUT OF YOUR JOY YOU WILL CREATED BEAUTY IN HIS NAME , FOR YOUR JOY COULD NO MORE BE CONTAINED THAN HIS NAME ."

Why is abundance " written on the heart " as a law ? Why is money a divine spiritual idea & a spiritual asset ? Solar particles and Northern Lights on Tuesday night

A dazzling display of auroras lit up the far northern skies Tuesday night (Jan. 24) in a supercharged light show…The northern lights show was sparked by an intense solar flare that erupted from the sun late Sunday (Jan. 22). The flare unleashed a wave of charged particles, triggering the strongest solar radiation storm since 2005

Flickr members Ben-e-boy and Corinne Mills (Ben’s Mom!) caught the aurora over Dundee, Scotland. A local and national paper found their photos through Flickr and contacted them. Corinne was contacted by the local Dundee Evening Telegraph. Ben’s photos were found by the Scottish edition of the Times and after contacting him his photo was on the front page!
